Taxes

Is there a way to create a policy where the American people are able to see where exactly the tax dollars are going. We pay so much in taxes we should see where they are being allocated to on the federal level and the state level. It would be nice if there was a government website or platform created so the American people had access to that and could see exactly where are tax dollars are going.

If we cannot eliminate income tax. I would like to see an ala carte system. O the income tax form taxpayers can select where their taxes are spent. Unspecified money goes into the “general fund” and is spent at congress’s discretion. Anything that doesn’t get enough designated funds gets eliminated. “The people” don’t want it.

Empower Individual Choice. Have the first $3k (or so) collected or owed be applied by the payee to non-profits of the payee’s choice. That way as many tax payers as possible control at least some portion of their tax bill. For eligible non-profits, use the existing list from the Combined Federal Campaign. https://givecfc.org/

Eliminating taxes is a challenge as it funds all levels of government. What we need is a way to insure that ALL pay their fair share. Make welfare benefits taxable. Cross match auto registrations to income reported(how do you buy a car for cash and not report income for years). Have local business license offices cross check business income when they renew their licenses. Return to only taxing 50% os ss benefits on the sliding scale.

We need to eliminating income taxes and going back to a simple excise tax on goods and services, such as we had pre-1913. Corporate taxes should be eliminated too as this would encourage people to start businesses as well as encourage large companies to return or open in the U.S. While we are at it, estate taxes should be eliminated too as that is just theft of after-taxed property. All property taxes should be a one time charge across the U.S. – when you purchase the property. It’s time we stop being slaves to our government and return the government to working for the people.

We sure can eliminate income taxes at a minimum…

The current amount of taxes paid is well beyond control considering that we are funding waste both in policy waste and salary waste of career Bureaucrats that are unelected and do nothing to benefit WE THE PEOPLE POLICIES that ENRICH AMERICANS LIVES.

People who are living completely off of the government should not be receiving tax returns. If they’re receiving welfare and are eligible for a refund, that refund needs to go to paying back whatever government services they received. I was a teacher in a low SES area for 30 years and watched nonworking parents blowing money every January and February from tax refunds. These people did not work.

There are some related issues to taxation and inflation.
Lowering prices is not the issue, we need to raise income. Starting with the minimum wage becoming a wage that could sustain a person. $25/hour is enough for an individual to live without government assistance. Especially if he doesn’t have to pay income tax.

Eliminating Income tax for the low, middle and upper middle classes is also a way of eliminating inflation with:

  1. $1 million net income deductible on income for individuals,
  2. $5 million net income deductible for corporations:
  3. then a flat tax rate of 25%. for income above the deductible.
  4. No tax on dividends or income distribution.

You would be increasing disposable income creating wealth and eliminating inflation. That is why you don’t need to lower prices, increasing disposable income works much better especially when you have no taxable income.

As for Tariffs:

Instead of tariffs, banning trade with bad trade partners is better. Countries in the following regions should be ban:

  1. Asia
  2. Africa
  3. Middle east

It protects our economy and our sense of capitalism. With the other countries from North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Russia, CIS, Turkey and Australia should have no tariffs.

I agree with your ala carte system idea. When people complete their tax returns as self employed individuals or when employed, they complete their W4, they should be able to check boxes where their tax dollars go. If funding does not happen for a program, that program is then eliminated.

I believe this may also be of interest under this policy proposal…
