History has proven that the U.S. government handouts to other countries do not produce the desired results. Most of the funds do not end up where they were intended. The U.S. government is bankrupt. The government has no money to give away, except what they take from their citizens or borrow . Even if the do serve a humanitarian purpose, it frees up the receiving government’s money to be used for nefarious purposes, such as buying military weapons. This activity creates situations where the U.S. government ends up funding dictators and terrorist. The ending blowback is always negative.
