It is time in American history that we begin to dismantle the corporate Oligarchy from our government system. The first step in this process is to shift all Social issues to state governments.
-
All Social issues will be managed by the states completely. Including but not limited to healthcare, education, employment, housing, agriculture, criminal justice and human rights.
-
All citizens will be taxed by their state, not federally. Each state will pay into the federal fund in accordance with the rules set out by the larger governing body of state representatives.
-
All else will remain the same, other than more economic responsibility falling to the states because of these changes.
-
The federal government will have much less power, the president will have very little power, more like a prime minister serving to enact the policies that the states vote on. It will focus on keeping our country safe (military), efficient (infrastructure) and clean (environmental policy).
This is the first step in untangling the corporate greed that taints our democracy at its core. The federal government will be there to support what each state wants, not to question it, unless it affects another state. It will be a mediator and protector of the people, that is all.
