Single Day Voting

Voting should take place on a single day with votes counted and election results made public within 48 hours.

Other developed countries seem to have no issues in tabulating result’s quickly without elections that seemingly drag on for weeks if not months.

COVID was used as an excuse to rapidly and dramatically change voting laws. The only form of mail in voting should be absentee ballots.

Additionally, voter ID should be required to vote. If you cannot prove your identity there is simply no way you should be able to vote.

The final results of early voting, whether by mail or otherwise, must be published the evening before the designated single day of in-person voting. All mail-in ballots must be included in early voting totals. This way, on the single day of in-person voting, everyone knows exactly what the stakes are. This also eliminates the possibility of adding illegal mail-in ballots at the last minute.

My poroposal covers the single day voting part and proposes a different method to ensure only legal votes are counted
