RFK-derived Medical Freedom Platform

Here is a presidential platform for Medical Freedom issues that basically summarizes what Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was promoting before he suspended his campaign for president:

  1. All vaccines must be subject to inert placebo-controlled studies, just as other pharmaceutical products are.
  2. End financial conflicts of interest that plague employees of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), National Institute of Health (NIH), and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) via executive orders.
  3. Make it illegal for any government agency to financially benefit from new pharmaceutical products regulated or licensed by the government.
  4. Develop, sign and implement a treaty banning all gain-of-function research globally.
  5. Direct the FDA and Federal Communication Commission (FCC) to end the practice of allowing pharmaceutical companies to advertise their products to the public.
  6. Work with Congress to put vaccines on a level playing field with drugs and other consumer products in accord with the 7th amendment, allowing consumers to sue manufacturers for injury in court and abolish the liability shield given to pharmaceutical companies by the 1986 Vaccine Injury Compensation Act.
  7. Support prosecution against major medical journals, their editors and publishers for racketeering with pharmaceutical companies unless they agree to end their fraudulent publication practices (such as retracting valid science, publishing false information, and acting on behalf of pharmaceutical company interests).
  8. Work with Congress to redirect appropriate funds to finding the causes of chronic disease epidemics instead of focusing entirely on infectious disease
  9. Make available to researchers all tax-payer funded databases (NIH, FDA, etc…) to produce highly accurate peer-reviewed studies benefiting the health of all Americans.
  10. Ban any scientist currently on the Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) or Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) that has allowed medications and vaccines to get to the American public in an unsafe manner and end access to NIH funding for these scientists for at least 8 years as punishment for the harm they have done to the public.

Let’s not forget about the School Systems that benefit financially from keeping their populations fully vaccinated. Receiving an education should have nothing to do with medical/bodily autonomy/religious freedom/philosophical freedom, etc etc etc.

Every former CDC. NIH employee should have a lifetime ban on receiving any benefit from any Pharmaceutical Company.

Perhaps, but there does need to be some standards and criteria for a ban. I am sure there are some good and honest people in the federal health agencies, they are just not empowered.

Regarding # 3 - shouldn’t any such ban extend to federal government employees as well as Government agencies? what about government contractors?

Any employee in a position to approve a drug should be banned for life from receiving any drug company compensation. Only then will we get an honest CDC
NIH . Every employee should be required to sign agreement to this ban . If they do find it palatable , they can choose to work elsewhere.

On the other hand, doesn’t experience in the pharmaceutical industry make a regulator better-equipped to do their job? Just as we don’t want industry shills working in the regulatory structure, we also don’t want people without firsthand knowledge of the field.

How can that balance be struck?

Prior experience is O.K. But once employed by the CDC / NIH , no further compensation from any drug co. should be allowed. No reward for a regulatory favour . The potential for bribery must be eliminated. And the rules need to be policed. Look what Richard Ames did to the C.I.A.

I would add 11. Prohibition on all medical mandates at a federal level. Medical mandates are not conditions for employment, education, entrance - anything!

I believe we should totally defund and disband The NIH over giving them an 8 year punishment. A punishment would not change anything, and once their punishment is over they would just become sneakier on how to hide the lawlessness. I also would welcome the idea of the death penalty for the members of NIH who knowingly participated in manufacturing bioweapons for crimes against humanity.

It would be beneficial if our country can work with other countries on treatments. Example: I am a nurse of 20+ yrs and have CRPS. One treatment is available in Italy. When researching why this treatment is not available in the u.s., I discovered research was started and then abruptly stopped by a person. Even though the research was in beginning stages and showing some positives. I know people that have gone to italy and had success for this disease. Why should this not be an option for our country for treatment? My end research was that italy owned the patent. We need to include treatment for u.s. citizens even if u.s. drug companies don’t hold the patent. This alone could save thousands of lives.

And vice versus. No pharma employee should be receiving any Federal Gov’t benefit.

Big Pharma should be prohibited from advertising prescription drugs on television and radio. As it used to be - Pharma has too much control over mass media.

I’m sure this already exists to an extent at the IRS level, I would like to see a public reporting requirement on vaccine manufacturers for bonuses, trips, etc. that are provided to distributers. I’m sure these are reported as expenses for taxation purposes and should be publicly available. I think we should also have the ability to see costs at the national level (i.e. costs in the US, vs Canada, Mexico, etc.) for the exact same medications.

Wherever there is risk there must be choice in regards to any pharmaceutical product. Especially vaccines.

I am also deeply concerned in the manner of how pharmaceutical products are tested using lab grown mice that are genetically altered by the nature of their breeding practices. It appears they are not good models for predicting harmful effects of drugs in humans.

I agree with almost everything, except #2-5. Increase GoF scrutiny, yes, but I don’t necessarily like the idea of restricting the government and/or ad agencies from making profits (If NIH has a stake, where does that money go?); however, the interested participants approving and/or waiving processes involving their conflicts must be stopped. Agree with 1 and 6-10.

Problems could be solved simply by using common sense. Experience is important and necessary for the positive growth of a sector. And it’s important that the person in charge of the sector is intellectually honest. A solution to struck that balance could be a turnover of experienced people who operate with transparency, avoiding that power can be concentrated in the hands of a single man.
