Restructure the foster care system

A rebuild of the American foster system could help qualified and safe families to adopt and foster children, but it could also help minimize the use of abortions in the country. If women seeking abortions for reasons other than medical necessity had access to a more safe and secure foster system, I believe they would be more inclined to follow that route. It would be critical to spread the word about this is enacted, and provide plenty of detailed resources at clinics and other places involved with women’s healthcare.

I lived in a country that utilized orphanages instead of a foster care system. The biggest advantage: children had stability by being in a community of siblings.

Children in the foster care system are left feeling isolated and unstable. There are many benefits to the foster care system. We should restructure it to allow for more children in a foster home. And to require that the children have time to interact with a community of other foster children nearby.
