Replace all domestic Federal Agencies (FDA, FCC, USDA, Etc.) with citizen boards. Remove ALL politicians, lobbyists, and activists from the process.

Agencies that directly affect American Citizens like, but not limited to: FDA, FCC, FTC, USDA, or any agency of the like should have ALL federal appointees removed from the equation, all Lobbiest and activists should be removed from the equation. Citizens boards that are directly impacted by the financial and health implications should sit in decision-making positions and determine what is allowed in food and drugs and issues of economic impact. These Citizen boards should rotate members every 2-4 years with election cycles. Government and Business should not determine what is allowed or what is safe for the American people. The board members would range from medical professionals, all the way down to farmers, construction, and service people, from every walk of life, race, religion etc. No members of ANY government entity or member of commercial business involved in ANY way should sit on the Citizen boards. No foreign entity should sit on the board. These agencies should be replaced with boards of the people by the people and no NON US citizen should sit.

Not sure how this would work but its a great idea. I think the time involved to manage would possibly require some sort of paid position as many would be giving up their time that is used to support themselves.
