We need to take oil off the commodity market. Part of energy cost is based on speculation. A contributor to starting wars is based on this speculation. As a matter of national and world security, the price of oil should not have contributors who profit from creating scarcity or by starting conflict. Wagers are being made that endanger humanity and people who do have investments in the price of oil are numb to the consequences of conflict. Some may be contributing to starting conflict. Peace on this planet is essential to disconnecting oil from these profit driven practices.
