“Remove Harsh Lighting proposal (AKA Say “no” to the diode)”

LED lights cause safety hazards on our roadways at night, burn our eyes illuminating our homes and public spaces, disturb our circadian rhythms, and are generally unaesthetic. No longer should we accept a diminished standard of living and nightly eye strain in the name of trivial energy savings. I propose:

  1. Draft laws banning the use and sale of LED headlights and capping the brightness of vehicle headlights.

  2. Ban the use of white LED lightbulbs in public spaces (street lamps, signage lighting, etc.)

  3. Lift the ban on the sale of incandescent lightbulbs for personal use.

The harsh lighting is impossible to deal with!

The ban on incandescent lightbulbs for personal use is ridiculous. The LED lightbulbs available for home use are an expensive joke. They do not work well at all.
