Pharmaceutical companies have had record breaking profits while everyday American’s are forced to decide between food and medicine. This should not be a hurdle for everyday Americans. Healthcare reform can help with provider and access issues, but pharmaceutical companies mandate the pricing in the markets. There’s no reason that one medication should be more expensive in the US than any other country.

I agree. Most medications don’t cost vey much to make; yet medications are sky rocketed and average people can not afford them out of pocket cost when insurances do not cover cost or cover very little ; co-pay cost for medication are outrageous. For example when one day you have 0 copay and the next month a medication cost is $1,330 . No one has that amount of money to pay the cost.
