States shouldn’t be allowed an all for one in their Electoral votes and should be based on a fair representation of who their constituents voted for. Looking at the most recent map of votes by party, Red counties in Blue States and Blue County in Red States basically have their votes eliminated in this process. In the fairest sense, California’s 54 votes are given to the Democrat nominee, even though Trump won 31 counties and Harris won 27 counties. In the fairest sense Trump should have received 28 to 30 of the electoral votes and Harris the remaining. This would also help in the media calling races to early since every single vote in every single county needs to be tallied.
