Most families once knew how to care for their own vehicles, but these days the vehicles are overly complicated with sensors and computer components that make them difficult to privately maintain.
I admit that I don’t know all of the implications of this, but it seems that the overregulation of the automotive industry may overcomplicate the ability of the average citizen to care for their own automobile.
Wouldn’t it be nice if there were cheaper, more bare-bones options in modern automobiles? Without many of the bells and whistles, just a vehicle that is comparatively easy to maintain that will make private transportation affordable for those who don’t need anything fancy.
