Rebuild areas hit by disasters - Carolinas, Lahaina Hawaii, Wyoming and Florida

When has our government ever ignored domestic disasters like this? The areas affected by these tragedies have been neglected by their own leaders. There are no excuses that can justify the lack of infrastructure support. Our government agencies have become inefficient and unaccountable. FEMA, along with other bloated charities, has failed to provide the help needed, draining hope and resources from the very people they are meant to serve.

I believe major construction projects should be launched to rebuild these devastated areas. No U.S. citizen should ever feel abandoned by their government, as many do today.

Why this then? On and on.

The issue is government desire to use immanent domain to seize the affected lands in both cases.

Follow the money. We used to use the judicial system to resolve eminent domain issues. Now its easier to ignore the residents, enable a major disaster, impede recovery and swoop in to gobble up the ashes.

Eminent domain, but yes, I think that’s the govt’s plan.

Edit to include Florida, the Carolinas, and Wyoming too please!
