Public Farms to combat hunger

We live in a world with an abundance of food but the distribution of resources needs to change . No person should go hungry . We should create public funded farms that grow healthy food for all . Especially the elderly , food deserts, food pantries etc . Farmers can volunteer their land and time while being compensated for providing a service , while also creating jobs in agriculture, driving , transportation and customer service , sales and marketing . Instead of income tax going to the fed everybody can chip in a food tax from employers or corporations . By contributing to the farm fund that will allow for companies to save elsewhere if they can feed their employees. People can save and allocate funds back into the economy by not spending as much on food . This policy has mutual benefit to all parties and will uplift humanity one stomach at a time .
