Personal Accountability of Government Employees - The P.A.G.E Act

Holding Government Officials PERSONALLY Accountable

The P.A.G.E. framework aims to ensure government officials and appointees are personally accountable for their actions, fostering transparency and protecting innovation from excessive regulatory interference that damages public trust.

Framework Overview:

  • Personal Accountability: Hold government officials personally liable, including financial penalties for unwarranted or frivolous actions.
  • Accountability-Based Sanctions: Apply legal sanctions, such as suspension or removal, for actions taken with gross negligence or malicious intent.
  • Governance Oversight: Create an independent oversight body to review regulatory actions, ensuring fair and unbiased enforcement.
  • Enhanced Transparency: Mandate clear public disclosure of enforcement rationale to build accountability and trust in government actions.

With the P.A.G.E. Act, we can create a balanced regulatory environment that values innovation, integrity, and responsible use of taxpayer resources.

No one that has hold a position in politics should be able to run again to represent “We the People”. I believe we need to start with a new canvas with no exception.

I need this to apply to every and all governmental agencies. The existing stewards are NOT being held accountable to the people, instead they blame the people. DPH and DHS in particular.

I work for Georgia DPH and I cannot begin to explain how ineffective our health departments are. We are wasting millions of taxpayer funds to simply “operate as normal.” There is no changing this system, it needs to be dismantled and rebuilt entirely. The focus is on immunizations, not care. Clients cannot even get appointments with us, our hours of operations force people who are in need to take off work, they spend hours in the waiting room while staff are simply “waiting to be told to do their job” and regardless of what solutions are posed, nothing is done.

93% of my clients cannot get ahold of SNAP. SNAP has been under investigation for over a year and claimed to be resolving the issues. The resolution was to deny people in need. Majority of my conversations are “the tax money I give I could be using to feed my family while I get out of this slump.” Greed is rising the cost of grocery prices. Food pantrys are only open during business hours. You cannot get ahold of anyone at Georgia DHS that can solve problems.

Every. Single. Entity. Needs. To. Be. Reset. If you are taking taxpayer dollars, there needs to be accountability for failure.
