America has the worst maternity leave policies.
Most working moms are not even fit to go back to work after 8 weeks postpartum… why can’t we do more for the working class moms? so many other countries have 60% paid maternity leave up to 12 months and possibly 18 months.
Lets make this right for the moms doing it all. We want to raise our babies and most moms go back to work to only pay daycare because it is so expensive!

I disagree. Most employers wouldn’t be able to afford that and the government shouldn’t be involved. Maybe 3 months but not a full year.
