Outlaw "Junk-Mail Ballots"

There is great debate about whether we should continue to use mail-in ballots. There might be a middle ground we can all agree on.

There is a significant difference between requested mail-in ballots and unsolicited mail-in ballots. A good comparison may be recognizing the different types of mail we receive every day. We get mail that we expect all the time. Things like bills and letters. We also receive unexpected and unwanted mail, advertisements, marketing letters, even coupons. We have given a name to it: junk-mail.

When someone actually requests a mail-in ballot, records can be checked to verify they are who they say they are, and they live where they say they live. When mail-in ballots are sent to anyone and everyone, even when they aren’t requested, the risk of fraud skyrockets. It’s simple. We need to outlaw junk-mail ballots. These are too easily stolen, manipulated, and exploited.

Thank you for your kind consideration.
