For most households, it takes two incomes and choosing for a parent to stay home versus work as often difficult. It takes things like considering the cost of daycare, food, expenses, healthcare, etc. The choice is not easy and in many circumstances, parents choose one of them to stay home because the cost of daycare and other things outweigh what they could make in a job.
In this situation, the parent who is staying at home and raising the children full-time still want to earn some sort of income, but it is difficult.
There needs to be some uniqueness and brainstorming for opportunities in this area, where the parent who is staying home, can still earn some income Or a tax break for the household.
Also, in many situations, the young generation does not have grandparents or family support for free childcare. More affordable childcare options would be a wonderful thing for most families. And not just for young children, but also for those who may choose to homeschool and need someone to oversee their children who are a bit older than preschool age.
I personally know many homeschooling parents who would love the opportunity to have a job or be able to provide some sort of income, but the holdback is no support to keep children.
Lastly, some sort of subsidy or option to a lot a certain amount of childcare hours to friends, family, etc. would be great.
