Oath of Office

Elected officials sworn into office take an oath to uphold the constitution. Since the constitution is law of the land for rules for the government against its citizens, any elected official breaking said oath of upholding the constitution must resign immediately and be removed from office.
For example, the 2nd amendment is the right to bear arms and will not be infringed upon by government officials, however, there are over 2000 laws on the books infringing upon that right. Soon as an elected official speaks of limitations, licensing, taxes, confiscation, buy back programs, etc, that language now disqualifies that person from office.
