I have never understood toll roads. We pay taxes and the best thing we can get is an expensive toll road. Most counties promise to install more lanes in congested areas but never deliver. It’s just another tax on the citizens and when you look into the companies that own them, most are owned overseas and the communities never see a dime of the taxes paid to drive on them. It would be different if our infrastructure was growing along side new toll roads but it never does!

Tolls are a money grab. Real actual highway robbery. Especially if you are a motorcycle commuter like me and sick and tired of paying the same amount at toll booths as cars and trucks.
