No More Family Movies with Homosexuality

You know, I was a kid watching reruns from before my time but I still saw the episode of Happy Days with the first sound of a toilet flushing that was allowed on tv. That was a relaxing of former broadcasting standards that didn’t allow it.

So in the context of this discussion, it isn’t like there was some gaytopia and horrible cruel hateful people have come along to take it away. It’s simply that the broadcasting regulations have gotten more and more lax over time to the point that people object.

Do you realize people didn’t used to be allowed to even be on a bed together, fully dressed, talking? Then that was allowed if both feet were in the floor, then one foot each I think it went. Now I’ve seen a music video that was a pile of painted bodies writhing like snakes and obviously being an orgy.

I object to homosexual content in G rated movies, as I said already. And trans stuff. But I also object to gore, excessive violence or too frequent violence, I object to every other word being curse words, I object to sadism , I object to overly explicit sex scenes. I object to themes that are degrading to the human condition, encouraging and normalizing promiscuity, selfishness, thoughtlessness, cruelty, gluttony, and displays that are to elicit envy.

So, it’s really not about homosexuals, that’s simply one of a long list of stuff that used to be banned from being broadcast but someone changed things to allow it. I don’t like the change and I think we need to change back. Apparently a lot of people feel the same. Someone relaxed the rules too far. That’s all.

i really want to agree, however I do find this to be contradictory of the 1st Amendment

Tell your boys this-

In America we believe in freedom. We dont have to agree with everyone or everything . We will fight and die for their right to be wrong. Thats what freedom is all about.

My rights end where your nose begins.

Rules and rulers have no place in a free society. Save for natural laws (not harming others, not depriving them of rights, freedoms, or enjoyment of their property, and not using fraud in your contracts.) We owe others lieniency in their actions to the degree that we expect protections for ours.

For the love of God, this is where the proliferation of denominations comes from. Dont get me wrong, the sea of denominations is obviously a good thing for freedom overall. Are you seriously going to pretend that freedoms begin and end with the freedom of religion? If so, im sure youll wake up someday in the not too distant future to find that theres a new gay denomination. Dontcha find it strange jesus had no wife but 12 dudes followed him everywhere? And how many of those men kissed him? Let me count…

And look around to where that’s gotten us and where it’s going. Enjoy!

Sounds like government overreach to me. We have way more important issues in our country. If youre that worried about it, what the movie first. Screen what your kids are viewing beforehand. Be an active parent.

This does not need to be a federal government issue. This is personal choice. If you cannot adult enough to decide what your family will watch, it is not the responsibility of the federal government to “protect” you from your own decisions.

The American Empire will not be the Roman destruction. People are ignoring child rape. Baby rape! 10 years ago everyone would have been yelling from the roof tops that this must be stopped. Every since the gay agenda ( and it is an agenda!) slowly started inserting itself into regular American lives, people have become not complacent, but we just started ignoring TV shows with lesbianism and sodomy. During the abysmal Harris/Biden administration we felt defeated and lost hope. We all sat and watched with our own eyes the so called president of our United States fondle children on live TV and people with those same proclivities was screaming that it was “grampa behavior” when we know damn well what he was doing! This behavior has caused thousands of children who only needed talk therapy, to mutilate their bodies and lose their chance of bringing precious life into this world. I’ve watched so many young adults crying their eyes out because parents and doctors didn’t tell them the side effects of trans surgery. The constant infections. The loss of bladder and bowel control. The painful daily stretching of areas that will grow up if it’s not done. The itchy, painful hair that continuously grows in fake anatomy parts.
I said all of that to say this-Don’t you dare act morally superior and pretend you’re fighting for so called human rights when you ignore children being raped and mutilated!
Keep your “relationships” in your home while we fight for real human rights.

So… our right to protect our children from being brain washed into being gay or trans is less important than your right to be on tv?

I’ll take that silence as a ‘yes’.

Not clear what your proposal actually is.

It sounds like you mostly just want a way to avoid certain content you find upsetting.

You assert that this negatively affects mental health overall, but give no evidence to support this claim.

You also seem to assert this will have some negative effect on kids because “they are absorbing everything they see”, but don’t outline what this negative effect would actually be, or give evidence to support this claim.

Hopefully someone here can get you in touch with resources that help you find content you want to watch, and other people can keep watching what they want to watch and keep creating what they want to make.

To me, it’s intuitive that not showing something can be just as much brainwashing as showing it.

For example, a radical sect / cult that doesn’t let members see other religions, or read about psychology, or basic science.

I recon that from the pro-LGBTQ+ liberty point of view, banning depictions is an attempt to brainwash LGTBQ+ kids into pretending to be straight, by making them believe gay people don’t exist and by asserting those topics are unacceptable to discuss. It’s also an attempt to brainwash straight kids into ostracizing LGBTQ+ kids.

Ultimately it partly comes down to what the reality actually is, and which side wants a picture painted to that turns out to be in conflict with it.

The other half is whether we trust our kids to be able to handle this aspect of reality, or not. Whether the harm of having a warped view of reality outweighs the benefit of “waiting till they are older to tell them”

The warped view of reality is that so many people are gay or trans.

As for the evidence of why it’s harmful/bad to show gay and trans people on tv, etc., is that half the world has turned gay and trans or thinks it’s normal now, in proportion to how much it’s been put in front of us. Monkey see monkey do. It’s not normal or it would have been that way all along. It’s harmful because it’s the result of brain washing warping people away from their nature. This is not human nature, it’s not animal nature even. Even if you find a pair of sad confused gay pandas or whatever it doesn’t make it normal or natural or okay. In fact it means something’s wrong.

This is being done to humanity and it needs to stop.

I do not in any way mean gay people ought to be oppressed. I think they’re brainwashed, not bad people. I think they’ve been victimized and I hope we can stop allowing other people, especially children, to be victimized like them, instead of being fooled into supporting and even promoting it for fear of looking unacceptable to the masses.

I do not believe that pyrography is a free speech issue, It might fall under a freedom of the press concern.

Hmm,

While recent media has a higher % of central characters be gay than reality, they’d argue that is to make up for the misleading lack of representation in existing media and visible public life.

Note that LGBTQ+ advocates would assert that people feeling same sex attraction has been normal and present throughout recorded history. They would also agree that acting on those attractions publicly has not always been common in every part of the world, nor has forgoing heterosexual relationships to pursue them.

If you think that homosexual behavior in animals is rare, you’re not seeing the research I’m seeing. I see an abundance of research finding homosexual behavior is common in species from all over the animal kingdom…

Thinking someone has been brainwashed does implicitly impugn their ability to think for themself. If you have to pick between a regular random person, and a random person whom you know has been brainwashed at some point, you’re picking the regular random person.

People with the LGBT agenda will say a lot of things, that doesn’t make it true. No offense intended, but to look back on history and try to divine that someone felt gay is ridiculous. Regardless, I’m sure sometimes they really did, but that’s not the point.

Look, let me give a little background here. I’m a Christian now but I don’t believe in God because I was raised that way etc. I was raised atheist essentially and completely believed it. And I was for gay rights etc because whatever you want to do that isn’t hurting other people and all that. So I really do get all that stuff.

I found out it’s wrong. Not just morally but factually.

Turns out God is not a belief, He’s a fact. He ‘is a hidden God’ in Himself and on top of that people are deliberately hiding that He’s real (and all the toxic version of religion/religious organizations is a big part of that). He is not an artifact of anyone’s belief in Him and He is the God of everyone whether they think so or not because He made everything and it all belongs to Him. And no, no one has to like it.

Satan is also very very very real and he and his buddies are intangibly right there pushing people around and always have been. There’s actually specific beings in charge of homosexuality. Lesbianism gets their own specific demon general, even. I always wondered why lesbians have a tendency towards ‘wicca’ and such. I wondered "Why would who you sleep with be so closely associated with witchcraft? " …ohhhh…

So demons have been hovering around humanity for all time trying to get them to do anything against God. They’re twisted broken angels of hatred and malice, and getting people to essentially hurt themselves with their own behavior is their favorite way to hurt God because in His infinite kindness and patience He still manages to love us.

Far from being a superstition of some religion, this is the central fact of the existence of the whole world for all of time. You don’t have to think so. Most people don’t. Doesn’t matter one bit.

“Oh that sounds crazy!” Well, it isn’t.

So this social acceptance of what God says is “an abomination” means that when the demons give someone urges towards the same sex, now people don’t even know to resist it. Now they’re outright told it’s normal. They’re backhandedly told that the urges are their own, that it’s okay to do that, and if anyone says anything against it, it’s because they hate you, so don’t listen. In fact if you’re a school aged child you can get held up as special and go to special clubs and be the coolest if the cool kids etc.

This is directly helping literal demons to have control over people. The more sin people commit the more demons get jurisdiction over them and push them to more and more sin because they want hosts. Sin leads to demonic control which can lead to literal, factual demon possession, to greater and lesser degrees. Yes really. (See the book “Dominion” by Fr Ripperger, so you don’t think I’m pulling this out of nowhere)

Ever try to stop some bad behavior? Isn’t it odd how hard it is to stop? Ever noticed some terrible thought in your head that doesn’t seem at all like you? Or thinking about doing something bad and it seems like no big deal until you do it and now it seems like it’s a huge bad thing and no one will ever forgive you, etc? That’s them.

This thing if putting gay and trans stuff into everything is forcing the ideology into everyone, even the remnant of people who know it’s wrong, under the guise of freedom no less.

The original subject on this thread was simply asking to have one single category of entertainment to not have this agenda pushed on people…

Now im the one that missed a memo; when did we start discussing pyrography? (Which im guessing means “pornography”, but the difference is inconsequential since we werent talking about that either as far as i know

Hm, if what you say is true, then im with you 200%. You appear to have witnessed a world around you that is diametrically opposed to the one that i had presented to me.

Ill grant that i was aware of an agenda concieved of and proliferated by the Tavistock Institute, a psyop for lack of a better word- glorifying the merits of transgenderism. To me, it was no less suspect than any of the rest of the psyops originating Tavistock. While I cant really call them harmless, their influence tends to ensnare exclusively the elements of society that already tended toward extremes in one direction or another. The types that fall victim to each and every youtube challenge, from ice buckets to styrofoam cups full of dookie to surfing on the roof of their parents car with nobody in the drivers seat.

And just so we’re clear here, child rape- ANY rape, for that matter, but especially child rape is already 100% illegal and is so abjorrent that even in prison the perps have to hide their faces for fear of the very likely wrath of their alleged peers (if you can call them that). I think where we’re not seeing eye to eye is how child rape has anything to do with gays appearing in family movies? The fact of the matter is, people have a right to be affectionate with each other, both publicly and privately. I do not endorse public lewdness or pornographic displays in public by any means- but people being affectionate with each other is not deserving of a restrictive label on a piece of media just because your religion says so
