I have seen far too many so called Family friendly movies with two men or two women in a relationship. Also I have seen many family friendly movies with trans or homosexual themes. It’s not appropriate for children to see this as their minds are absorbing and learning everything they see. Plus I don’t enjoy watching movies that are supposed to be clean movies and then all of a sudden one character has a thing for someone of the same sex. This affects everyone’s mental health, because you are exposed to things that are twisted and not natural. Movie channels such as Hallmark and UpFaith and Family should not be allowed to air this as family friendly or Christian content. It should be an adult movie with warnings about the content. Everyone has the right to do as they please just don’t make the rest of us have to watch if we feel it’s inappropriate for our families.
I see nothing wrong with my children being exposed to the concept Of all manner of Relationships.
So long as it isn’t pornographic in nature, i believe that awareness of differences can only mentally strengthen our youth.

Automatic movie and tv programming including homosexuality is an automatic “X” rating.
All reels, vines, or streamed video content must also contain a marking and filter capability for that content.
All printed or electronic text publications must include a warning the material contains homosexual content on the cover.
All electronic libraries and sales data must provide customers the ability to filter out that content.

Well the thing is gay people have always existed and pretending like they don’t doesn’t change anything. Kids will figure it out eventually. I do understand, as a parent, wanting to shield your children from certain types of content; sexually explicit, drug related, etc. I don’t disagree with you on the whole, however I do not believe in censorship. I do however believe in the rating system. I think we need to completely re-do that rating system because there are things passing today as TV-14 that would have been Rated-R when I was growing up. I 100% agree than any “programming” involving alternative lifestyles should explicitly say that from the beginning in the rating. I mean you’ll make me aware this show has strong language, then also let me know if two boys are kissing or something too. That seems like a no-brainer. Anything involving themes of sexuality in what is deemed a “children’s program” should be outright banished altogether. Citizens would be convicted of a crime for trying to groom children and I believe media corporations should be held equally responsible. Remove it or face penalties.

There’s this thing called if you don’t want to watch a movie or tv show that doesn’t align with your beliefs, you have the right to not watch it and keep moving on, but restricting stuff based on your beliefs/religion is straight up wrong, while I’m a republican it’s people like you who make me want to move out of this country, we are not a communist country and people like you are who wants a communist controlled country.
TV today has gone FAR beyond holding hands. A recent episode of “Brilliant Minds” has two men French kissing. An episode of “Designated Survivor” had two men humping each other in bed! I don’t want to see this regardless of gender.

I weep for the people of this nation. I have never seen such ugly hateful comments. God doesn’t want his children watching anything that goes against him and homosexuality does. Our kids should not be subjected to this kind of content on TV. I am merely suggesting that anything that has homosexuality or trans in it should not be allowed on family content or Faith content. It should be flagged and marked so that parents can decide whether or not they want to let their children watch it. This nation has moved too far away from God and we need to start bringing God back by the content that is being shown to children. God is the only one who can fix this country and it makes me sad that so many have turned away to wicked ways. Thanks to all who stand behind me on this.

Agreed and none of this ever in movies, cartoons that are based toward children, this should never happen, I have seen way to many of these children based programs with this slipped in, another Democrats way of trying to hide things. It’s got go let children be children.

I agree with Zack Shemwell, we need to update the rating system for TV, videos, movies, podcasts, TikTok posts etc. While as an adult, I may like Joe Rogan podcasts, they aren’t usually content for kids. I may like to watch Die Hard sometimes but I know it isn’t apt for children and can wait to watch it when it’s just adults. A new rating system would help everyone know if the content is something that you want to see/hear or not and you can make your own decisions for yourself and your family. Ratings can reflect language/sexuality/violence/ and much more. Rather than attack each other here, we should work together to make suggestions for a workable Rating system.
