Establish a royalty stream for every American based on the per barrel of oil and every cubic foot of natural gas extracted and sold by the US. Model it after the Alaskan program. Payments would go to verified S citizens over the age of 18.
A program like this would incentivize people n both sides of the isle to support energy exploration, production and exportation since they would see direct financial benefit. A program like this would epitomize “America First”.
Bill- Please show me where any barrels of oil is produced by the state or federal government and then your plan may have some merit. Until then-- you’re not entitled to any revenue or profit generated by private or publicly traded oil and gas companies. Alaska sends funds to their populous- because the oil companies lease the state land from Alaska. The state supplements their incomes with the royalties from the lease payments. Good idea-- wrong type of government to implement the plan.
