When refugees sneak across the borders and are caught and held awaiting deportation, they should be fed Meals Ready to Eat. We stockpile millions of these (there’s a huge stockpile in Southern Indiana). If they are good enough for the troops, they are good enough for illegal aliens. I recall that when we shipped MREs to Iraq and the Middle East in the 1990s, the locals complained a lot about them. Maybe if the “immigrants” headed for the USA know they have to eat MREs, rather than regular food, it might dissuade them. And, again, if MREs are good enough for our troops (and disaster relief) they are good enough for illegals.
