Housing for the Homeless

With Federal money saved from eliminating unnecessary agencies through the Department of Government Efficiency, create several " Veteran Villages" throughout the United States consisting of Tiny Homes for our Homeless Heroes.

Through the program, Veterans would not only have a roof over their head, but they would also provide Medical and Psychiatric aid.

This comes with a caveat though…Inhabitants of these Villages must be drug free and be subject to random drug testing.

Veteran homelessness is something that needs to stop immediately. For veterans with substance abuse issues, engage them in treatment, both addiction counseling and mental health treatment. Addiction can be a disease, or symptomatic of underlying mental illnesses or trauma. If you were willing to put your life on the line for this country, then you should have housing available at all times. Perhaps a substance abuse evaluation and therapy available as well as help for treating the traumas experienced during wartime?

I suggest that we bring an end to veteran homelessness BEFORE spending money to fund the war machines of other nations.
