People who have driven in Southern California will get me- you’re driving in the worst traffic at night and there are thousands of headlights drilling into your soul your whole way home. It’s disorienting and completely UNNEEDED- we need to mandate Highway GLARE SCREENS AND ROADWAY BARRIERS!!! To enhance roadway safety and promote public health, it is proposed that all states implement a mandatory installation of solid roadway barrier walls, accompanied by attached glare screens along major highways and roadways. This initiative aims to mitigate the adverse effects of headlights from oncoming traffic, which can lead to eye strain, headaches, and even trigger epileptic seizures in sensitive individuals.
The policy will specifically target areas that receive federal infrastructure funding, with a focus on highly populated regions such as Southern California. By incorporating these measures, we can significantly improve the driving experience, reduce the risk of accidents caused by visual disturbances, and promote overall well-being for both drivers and pedestrians.
This proposition encourages collaboration between state transportation departments and federal agencies to ensure that the necessary funding and resources are allocated for the effective implementation of these safety measures.
