Make it where all states have to follow the same election protocol for Federal Elections. Elections that only involve state or local officials can be done how their current state laws have it lined out in the state constitutions

I second this. For federal elections, such as the presidential election, having all states follow the same outlined protocols and procedures creates a more just, fair, and trusted system. For state elections each state can mandate their own policies and procedures.

Exactly, it makes no sense to have so many different ways to vote when we are all voting for the same Federal position.

I have been thinking this way for years… especially after the shenanigans running up to 2020.
I think It would also be important to have a comprehensive non-partisan methodology for designing the rules and making any changes.
We simply can’t have politicians changing the rules of the game just before the election process.

It should be universal. We are all voting for the president every state should abide by the same laws. Paper ballots and have a cut off time on the same day. you should know how many poll workers you need based on the amount of voters you have in your counties and state. No more machines that tabulate the votes, only machines to count how many people who voted.
