Pharmaceutical Advertisements should at a minimum have the same restrictions as Big Tobacco advertisements.

Pharmaceutical advertising should be banned. There is only one other country (Australia) who allows it.

I go to the expert to tell me which medicine I need. I do not tell them which medicine I need. Having said that, the doctors should be educated to give real cures, not prescribe medicine based on kickbacks.

How about limiting/restricting how much a company can pay a media outlet for advertising period. There can not be true “freedom of the press” if they’re accepting advertising dollars. Do media outlets really need all the glam they have? It’s gotten out of hand.

Need to ban all pharmaceutical ads and when broadcasting to Canada including ads that do not reveal what the new drug is for but ask your family doctor.

This would single handedly change our mainstream media culture. This and Citizens United are my #1 and #2!!!
At a minimum, they should read the risk information in a normal voice at a normal speed so people can understand it!

All money flowing from pharmaceutical companies to advertise should be banned. Media will never objectively present news about medications if they are rolling in advertising dollars.
