Lift incandescent light ban

Light emitting diodes aka LED lighting is harming all life on our planet. Our biology is adapted to full-spectrum sunlight. Using blue light is cheaper to use because it eliminates the heat producing spectrums. But it is at a great cost to our health. For one, we are not designed to receive bright, daylight, sun 24 hours a day. Thus it disrupts our body’s cycle for rest and repair. Secondly, our mitochondria which are buried inside of us need IR light as UV light does not penetrate the skin. Most all of the metabolic diseases that people are experiencing today are being caused by lack of natural light and too much artificial light at the wrong times.

Because it is cheap to run LED lights, it promotes light pollution. This junk light can be likened to junk food - cheap, readily available but to the detriment of health. People are using more and more light outdoors for security and decoration where it pollutes our night skies causing harm plants, animals and people. Also, many manufacturers are adding lights to every electronic device and appliance - many of which cannot be turned off. Having lots of lighted devices and light coming in from outside makes it difficult to achieve a healthy sleep environment.

Incandescent bulbs, that include the warmer wave lengths are not as disruptive to our biology and should be available. Also, LED lights should come with a health warning on them because the public has been LED (pun intended) to believe that there are no health implications to using them

LED lights give me bad migraine headaches, and now i can’t buy any other light bulbs! This is criminal! I have like 2 regular light bulbs left. This needs to be fixed A.S.A.P.!

You can still get 40w incandescent appliance bulbs easily and smaller watt bulbs for string lights or night lights. I have reduced my artificial lighting altogether and feel much better. LED headlights are the worst. It’s like getting your retinas burned out of your head.
