Children with Juvenile Diabetes families should not have such a financial burden on them in order to provide their child with everything needed to successfully manage their childs sugar. My daughter has been diabetic since the age of 4. She is almost 15 now. Her sugar is all over the place due to her hormones. She wants a pump so bad but my insurance is horrible. I work 50 hours a week for a major retail chain but my insurance will not help pay for anything until a reach a $3,500 deductible and even then i am still paying for supplies and insulin. She is not on a continuous glucose metor because i cannot afford it. These are children and they didn’t choose this for themselves. Every child should have access to a continuous metor and a pump without the financial burden on their families!! This is important to us! These are our children
