Currently, it is nearly impossible for folks to access funding for start up farms that have a dream, education, and experience. You must already be a farmer to qualify for FSA funding. Additionally, many people living in city limits have a difficult time getting funding for urban farming.
It would be LOVELY to see more people growing more of their own food and selling locally or providing food for their community. It would also be nice to change livestock and chicken laws in cities. Most places ban roosters, which ensure that you can breed more chickens and protect your backyard flock.
If grants could be provided to individuals with a dream, they could be free from industrial farms
