For a full functioning democracy the people need to be represented more accurately by their representatives.
1: Each house representative is required to hold a town hall in their district twice annually and televised/streamed or saved for viewing, comment and discussion.
2: Start an online forum in real time that allows us to better communicate to our representatives (such as this) where discussions can be had about upcoming bills, policies etc. Bills can be posted as they are introduced and the people of a district can express how they would like to vote on bills. An approval rating would also be displayed on this site for voting in real time.
- An easier route to impeachment of a representative. If they are not upholding their duty to represent through interactions in this town hall and forum a vote can be initiated to impeach the representative for failing to represent their district. The vote will be initiated once the approval rating on this site reaches 20% or lower for a running 2 month period. Vote to impeach will take place in official voting capacity.
