The determination of who is placed on what committees is an element of Congress that could use reform. Ultimately, all members of Congress deserve the same level of access to information if Congress is to perform it’s function in serving as a democracy.
A second element of Congress that requires reform is the control of who’s bills are able to be heard and voted on. I propose that all members of Congress are afforded the same amount of bills to be heard and voted upon so that minority members are not locked out of the process.
