Highspeed Railway network and infrastructure

High speed rail that connects the major cities across America. Along with monorail infrastructure for large Metropolitans. Perhaps additional infrastructure connecting rural America with urban America. Subsidies used to prop up the failing airlines could help to make this a reality. It could also reduce our dependance on single use vehicles, lower vehicle mortality, and reduce costs for commuters significantly.
