The Drug Pandemic in our country is getting worse and worse every single day.
In 2016, my family lost my younger cousin to an overdose. I carry Narcan on me in case there comes a time that I come across a horrible situation where it needs to be used, praying it’ll save a life, as I know the hole a loss leaves in your family. But, having Narcan dispensaries stationed around everywhere isn’t helping the seriousness of the drug problem our country has. I’ve lost count on how many overdoses I see come across the scanner page in my state in a single week. We need to do something different. Something bigger. Something better. Something more affective that will decrease the amount of loss of life to these drugs. Not to mention the fact that you cannot take your children on walks on nature trails or to parks anymore without finding drug paraphernalia. Our towns and cities all over our country are being taken over. We need to do better at ending this!
