Health insurance for All

Health insurance
Should not be tied to ANY employer, especially the govt. ALL people, including those on the Hill should be required to buy it from a private, free and competitive marketplace! A few regulations- 80/20 coinsurance plans only available, with various deductibles an annual max out of pocket. Switching companies when premiums get too high would be possible via lenient underwriting, (similar to Medicare supplements) if a person always maintains insurance. Otherwise, they can buy coverage and pay 2 years premiums (similar to life insurance) with very limited coverage- like preventative only.
If a person doesn’t buy insurance, they pay their own bills- no bankruptcy for those who just don’t want to buy insurance. Of course there would still be a public option for those who are homeless, disabled, or indigent. The vast majority of Americans would gain affordable insurance and would not have to work for companies just to have health coverage. There would be more entrepreneurs and small business employees. Competition breeds affordability and quality. If politicians also HAVE to use Medicare and private insurance, like the rest of us, insurance will be better!
It’s fixable!
