Grow female trees in populated areas

We need to grow fruit in public areas. No more male trees in America we shouldn’t have to pay for fruit. I want to be able to pick a apple or a peach off a tree while walking down the road

I have thought about this so many times. Why can other countries have fruit trees along their roads. Why cant we? And it doesnt have to be along the roads we drive on but there should be an area in every neighborhood or maybe in parks where there are fruit trees and berry bushes. It would be good for the wildlife too
