Give military members medical autonomy

Military members should have the freedom to decline invasive procedures such as vaccines, and should have the ability to choose their own treatment strategies, whether western medicine (which is currently the only thing offered to them in the form of sub-standard care) or more holistic alternatives. If there is credible evidence that a treatment strategy works for the service member’s condition, they should have the ability to select the method of treatment, and the care provider, they prefer.

Military members should also have access to preventative care options to ensure they are in prime condition to serve their country at all times. Rather than focus on compensating for damage done in the form of disability payments, our military’s money would be better spent on proactive measures, to help protect our service members and keep them, to the best of our ability, in peak physical condition at all times. In the long run, I am confident this strategy would be a cost-saving measure for our military.
