Give Doctors Immunity to practice Ethical Medicine Without Fear from the DEA

It has become insane, patients in pain being treated like addicts while the government pursues its affiliation with Indivior. Leave the doctors alone, and abolish the DEA drug diversion division, except for illegal street drugs coming across the border. LET THEM PRACTICE MEDICINE!

I agree with you on this. However doctor are ot taught from a nutricianal standpoint. Doctors could heal through nutrician instead of having BIG pharma in their back pocket. The world we live in is hungry for money. Money is the driver as to which drugs they give you. No one carea for the patience any more. I dont trust doctors at all to do the right thing.

I disagree Don’t give anyone who profits on a service or item immunity. Profiting without responsibility relives them from accountability then the unsuspecting population becomes the lab rats. Make all entities, corporations, governments and individuals, accountable. In the case of corporations, make the board, managers and stock holders liable.
In respect to Doctors, a patient and the patient’s family being advised by a doctor or any other person trusted by the patient must make their own decisions concerning medical care. (except in urgent, emergencies and patient’s family can not be reached)

I agree that all parties involved in the medical care industry should be held accountable. Get the doctors out of Big Pharma’s pockets and you might be able to do that. Dependency on drugs is big money, and that’s where I’d start. Doctors shouldn’t be limited by the FDA or the CDC considering Big Pharma has a lot of influence there.

Yes. People who need meds, especially short-term, should be able to get them. Don’t forget the strong cough medicine as well as pain meds. However, doctors need to look at other treatments for chronic conditions which cause pain and/or at least monitor patients for addiction. I personally knew someone who became an addict who started with prescription pain meds. She eventually turned to street drugs and has served jail time. I’ve lost touch with her, so I don’t know how she is doing now. But if she had been given better treatment for the condition she supposedly had, and not just pain meds, perhaps this would not have happened. There needs to be a balance. If I am obviously sick with a bad respiratory infection, I shouldn’t be denied the only cough med which helps me.

Immunity for pain medicine prescriptions. I had a neck surgery and was given Tylenol for recovery. I’m not a user. I don’t even drink. So Tylenol is pathetic.

I am so sorry that happened to you. Tylenol for an invasive neck surgery is absurd. I would have raised serious ruckus. There are a lot of misguided people who have never really experienced pain, so they have an ignorant point of view. Id hate to wish ill will on anyone, but maybe they need to feel some pain to learn some empathy.

I dont disagree that they should be accountable for their actions, but they should also not be in constant fear because of big brother either. How many DEA agents know anything about medicine. Likely not very many. Just because some crooks started pain clinics in Florida and then took advantage of old retired doctors, now everyone wants to blame the physician. Big Pharma has more influence on our lousy legislators than they do on doctors anyway.,

After recent experiences, I have come to the conclusion, the entire medical industry needs to be completely abolished and started from scratch! All medical personal should be accountable, period. I am not convinced any doctor I have visited in several years even knows what “ethical medicine” is anymore. Every doctor has a choice. They are all programmed to make profit over curing people. If I come across a doctor that actually practices “ethical medicine” by attempting to cure an ailment versus prescribing treatments to help the ailment last as long as possible to make as much money as possible, I might just fall out!

This is great and as a chronic patient I have gotten the short end of the stick, but the real question is why did the CDC lie and then after everyone adopted the lie why did the CDC remove it but the DEA held to it?

I had a root canal done on a pretty bad infection. The dentist had me try 5 different things before FINALLY getting me some pain meds. In the past, other root canals he did on me, he would give me a prescription for pain right away. It was ridiculous the amount of pain I had to endure due to the current protocol.

I agree with you. I won’t even go to a doctor, they’ll kill me. The entire system needs to be brought to its knees and a new homeopathic and functional medicine system needs to replace it. If people actually understood what those “legal” drugs did to their bodies, they would NEVER take even 1 pill. If people understood that by the time something manifests in the body it has been in their field for a very long time, waiting to be noticed and healed, they would start paying attention to their bodies and taking proper care of them as well as their mental and emotional bodies which is where all dis-EASE takes place. Educate the public and they would reject our current medical system and poisonous drugs themselves and make western medicine as we know it a thing of the past.

This is very true. I have a autoimmune disease that is destroying my body. I have worked my entire life. I’m only 48 but had both hips replaced and was given Tylenol. I sat shaking in my house alone because the pain. A year ago I tore my rotator cuff at work. Was given ibuprofen ALOT of ibuprofen. Again I threw up from pain. More ibuprofen. Now I can barely move my arms and can barely walk because of pain and have been trying to work. But it’s getting to the point I’m literally crawling in the house because the pain is so intense. I’m in pain overload and I guess I’m going to have to file for disability. Which is heartbreaking. I will loose what I have worked so hard for. Please give doctors permission to give pain meds if there is a chronic condition to require it, and to those who has surgery. It’s cruel not to.
