Good point. The central question is hat educational issues should be considered by lower jurisdictions as opposed to the Feds? Can you think of any educational issues that should be handled by the Feds?

IMO the Feds may be needed when local issues require a strong Fed authority and/or major funding. Of course having the feds. get involved in divisive political issues is not a good idea!
