For every new law, eliminate two existing laws

Turn around the stranglehold of the bureaucratic stranglehold by getting rid of obsolete laws and regulations.

As part of the process of passing new laws, Congress must select at least two existing laws to eliminate. Many of these laws are not only outdated or useless, but many actually have a negative impact on our freedoms and rights.

As Mallory Perazzo wrote in the University of Cincinnati Law Review, “ While these laws may seem harmless and entertaining, they may also have negative consequences, such as providing law enforcement with an unbalanced amount of power, undermining the legal system, and inhibiting innovation.”
