Take Food Stamps/EBT OUT of the farm bills. 70% of farm bills are WELFARE benefits. These benefits have no place in agriculture spending. These high price tags of Farm spending are skewed with these “benefits” added and fuel outrage by the 92% of the country not involved in agriculture.

Imports of Ag products should be tied to US market prices. When the price begins to drop, imports should be reduced or shut off. American Ag producers need stability. Young people need to be encouraged there is a career in farming and ranching. The average age of a farmer is over 50 years old. It also has the added benefit of REDUCING Farm Bills when our US Producers are getting a fair price and not being undercut by imports.
