Facilitate programs to encourage new Craftsmen

I am a 2nd generation craftsman specializing in gold leafing, sign painting and traditional gun engraving over the last 30+ years. There is no one to pass the trades off to because young people were all encouraged to go into tech jobs. If something isn’t done to turn this around many of these specialty crafts will be gone in the next 15-20 years. Mike Rowe talks about this a lot. We need a way to get younger people involved in these skilled trades that require apprenticeships.
