I think its a great idea and I know they will find fraud in every City State and County. I’ve worked in City and County jobs and I seen first hand the secret deals and projects that always seemed to be on City Council or County commissioners land etc… Like I said the fraud is everywhere!!!

Hawaii has a super corrupt government! They definitely need an audit! Maybe then Hawaiian will move back to Hawaii.

Unfortunately, the states that really need it, like CA would never allow DOGE in. It’s sad because I moved out of CA due to all of the corruption and increased taxes, over and over again. They spend money like it’s water.

Naw, they should be a SURPRISE! when they are to be audited, that way things can’t be ‘hidden’ or moved around.

Completely agree - I live in Maine and our local government is extremely corrupt. The people are struggling and these corrupt politicians are getting rich on our backs.

100%!!! I’ve been saying we need state DOGE’s!!

Also, to add onto that, we need a DOGE when it comes to the bureaucratic red tape. Like, all the permits, and paperwork and fees for literally EVERYTHING. In California, it costs $50,000 just for the permits to start building a home…(I know, the first mistake here is even living in CA, leaving this dump in 1 1/2 years so don’t judge me too hard lol) this is just one example but over regulation is wildly out of control. It makes it to where people can’t be innovative, entrepreneurial, or “build the American dream”. The reason we have monopolies is partially because someone makes a product like an AC unit, they then lobby for the government to create regulations that make it too expensive and nearly impossible for anyone else to make a better or different AC unit (even though it is entirely possible for a better unit to be invented) so then there is no one to compete (this is conjecture on my part) but I think/have heard that the over regulation secures people’s spots who are already in the industry and shuts anyone else out who dares attempt to enter by making to too complex, expensive and damn near impossible.

Federal funds MUST BE contingent on voter ID qualification that all other voter ID states use, and for CA, it should be DOGE oversight.

Our state of maryland jumped to do their own assessments… They’re incredibly crooked here. I’d love DOGE to come here because theyd be completely neutral and honest. I feel like our own group is equivalent to the fox watching the hen houses … They’ve already raised property taxes 20-25% and now theyre saying they need more money for education… We all know that song and dance. In order to get rid of corruption, it must be taken out completely… They’re running for the states now.

They would have a field day here in Delaware. Government waste, fraud and abuse is so bad here. I would be ecstatic.

theyre also promoting this green deal where electric cars or a car will be mandatory in a couple years … Our electric is so high here and who can afford a new car.
We get ripped off from car insurance companies that are in cohoots with the state… If we get hit on our used cars, they always want to total it and you get these ridiculous price for the car … You can’t find another inspected… or get a lot of work done so it will pass inspection then there’s all the mva costs. These insurance companies dont want to take a chance on repair costs so they total your dependable car and say tough crap … go find another one. Total bs … I’m so poor from taxes and corporations …

I don’t know if they would allow the federal government to come in to deal with state and local programs. I think each state will have to create their own DOGE. Florida has created their own DOGE for the state level. So it would probably be up to your own governor or mayor.

The governor and mayor will not be involved in that decision, since they are the targets for the audits.

It is most likely that the Federal Govt will ask the states if they really need those funds that were discussed, for those state projects; and the states will scratch their heads, knowing that they are flat broke and running on fumes, and agree. It all comes down to money (or lack of it).

State-level DOGE is coming, whether the governor or mayor likes it or not. It would be political suicide to fight it. DOGE represents the super-charged will of the American People (especially after USAID, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, etc). You NEVER go against The People and hope to retain any future political position. This one is firm and non-negotiable.

I agree. Especially for the Federal funds they receive.

The only way from the federal side would be to require it as a condition of Receiving ANY Federal Dollars.

Dub, and that is precisely how it should work, I think. In total agreement. Those federal dollars could be income from tariffs from other countries who wish to do business in America. No state would refuse THAT large revenue stream. That is how to force it on the states (along with a mandatory elimination of unconstitutional property tax extortion at the county level).

Total agreement here.

2/3 pf my property taxes go to the local school district, and the school district is woke and out of control. Need to start there!

How is that being done? I assume it will not be by Elon. Desantis is having this done by someone? Lucky you in FL. So many states like mine are run by Dems and RINOs who were installed. It’s the same with the BOCC (Board of County Commissioners) taxing us out of our homes at 10+% a year the last 5 years.
