So youre saying because i worked my ass off to learn a trade and became a journeyman in my field making great money the government can take more of money than the person who works at mcdonalds because they dont want to get a real job? No. Your penalizing people that work hard to better themselves.
Before Reagan ended the deduction, all consumer interest was tax deductible. The deduction should be restored. That would encourage consumer spending and lift the economyâŚ

This may benefit rich people over poor people. Poor people spend 100% of their income vs rich people who only spend a smaller percentage of their income.

Disagree. Take look at other countries who have this. Their sales tax will get split off into a âluxury taxâ the Bahamas has such a tax that is 100%. That is why any living outside of paradise island, such as, Nassau, is a shithole. No tax substituting for another tax. There should be NO tax. Period.

Yes a national sales tax gets my vote. Our money we send to the IRS every year does not go to improvements to our country. Iâm told it goes to a private trust in Puerto Rico

Big surprise that a tax professional would not want VAT ! Everybody would then be forced to chip in, and have skin in the game. People who pay no taxes and have no skin in the game, should not be allowed to vote.

As a small business owner I am required to submit employeesâ withholding, fica taxes, but also I have to match all employees give taxes as well. This is so unfair to the small business owners and why are we expected to pay this tax again when the employees have already paid it?
Get rid of the federal income tax. The taxes for the federal government should be passed up from each state. Each state would send up a percentage of state revenue on to the federal government. This would end the need for the IRS, or drastically reduce its need, as they would no longer have to cover every citizen, just 50 states.
