No murder inside or outside the womb! There is no compromise.
The Bible is a book of religion, not a book of law. The very foundation of the United States was upon the idea of religious freedom, and someone who does not believe in Christianity should not be subject to a law based upon Psalm 51:5.
I understand your point, but I am of the belief that religion has no place in the government, and government has no place in religion, and therefore, any discussion happening here (and especially in the government) should be on the grounds of the constitution, rather than the Bible.
Molar pregnancies donât have a heartbeat and arenât people. They are tumors and can be removed without moral or ethical issue. No prolife person has an issue with D&C for molar pregnancy.
Molar pregnancies can have a heartbeat. We just lived through one. We wept because our grandchild died in utero. If the child would have lived much longer on its own (guaranteed to not survive no matter what) our daughter-in-lawâs life would have been in jeopardy. Even after the d&c she continued for weeks to be in danger. We are staunchly opposed to abortion of viable babies. This was not the case.
I believe in medically necessary abortions still being available as it concerns a females life. However, what I do not agree with is elective abrotions bring used as birth control. I do understand that some women do not want the responsibility of being a mother. Is there something we can do to make voluntarily sterilization more affordable and accessible for women who do not want children or for women who are done having children? I have 2 children, I am 24 and we are done at 2. I have to travel 4 hours to the closest medical center to have my tubes tied, as the medical centers in the town I live in do not perform tubal litigation for religious purposes. I have done a bit of research into hysterectomy, there are not a lot of voluntarily options. Instead of pushing the right for elective abortions, can we consider pushing something more elective sterilization for women?
No. People are simply pointing out the obvious. Coming to the table with a ban instead of limits will go nowhere. The executive branch is not a king who can just sign that into law. Politicians are more likely to agree to limits and you are more likely to get bipartisan agreement since late term abortions are actually only something extremists are for. We should not be coming to this topic with policies that are not feasible and divisive. Not even everyone right-leaning is for an abortion ban.
That said, as many others have pointed out, you appear to be coming to this subject- one which I would argue is often quite emotionally driven and complex- with religion instead of factual arguments. Itâs entirely understandable if your faith is why you are pro-life. In fact, my own is why I do not support exceptions as the only arguments I ever see for them boil down to focusing on punishing an unborn child instead of the actual perpetrator. However, when considering potential law that is meant to be a suggestion for someone who may become president logic needs to be in the argument, especially because not everyone here (or even everyone in the country) is religious. We do not live in a theocracy.
As a man you have absolutely no right in any shape or form to have the right to tell any woman what she can or cannot do with her body.
There are many reasons medically, emotionally and financially to have an abortion.
Until you yourself have been pregnant, carried a life , or a dead fetus please keep your opinions to yourself.
A motherâs life must always come before a fetus.
I speak as a woman who has given birth to children, had miscarriages and almost died.
Abortion is my right as a human.
And do not tell me what a bunch of cells my body makes has more rights than me.
They also need to make it easier for loving families to adopt children. The cost and wait makes it almost impossible for some. Imagine giving a child a chance to enter into this world to a loving family and have a wonderful life, instead of being unwanted and aborted.
The demonic pro aborts would have you believe that childbirth is more lethal than an abortion when statistically and realistically it is safer to have a live birth over an abortion.
Hearing from some women about abortion there are underlying issues and reasons other than medically and rape. I strongly agree that if there is a life at stake then abortion must be legal to prevent death of the child and the mother. I also believe that in this country our proudest accomplishment is Freedom and that is freedom to choose what to do with your body as a woman.
I would propose that in the case of a medical abortion it should be absolutely emergency only to be a free procedure.
In the case of Rape or incest there should be a convention of the rapist and justice should be served in order for the abortion to be free of cost.
In the case of a choice to abort then it should not be made free there must be money involved especially since we put a price on organ donations, why canât we put a price depending on the developmental stage the growing child is in. I think that money raised by choice abortions should go towards the reasons why some women decide to abort. In the case a woman doesnât trust the government to care for a child they donât want then we can take the funding to fix the orphanages and adoption system. In the case that women donât want to ruin their bodyâs lets fund the scientists trying to create artificial wombs and mass produce them to hospitals around the nation. We can also rule that all contraceptives should be free of charge to prevent pregnancy if it is unwanted.
An outright abortion ban will just further divide the nation and will never solve issues. Listen to women, care for women, and find a way to create a solution that is bipartisan.
How about we let each woman decide over her own body?
I would never demand someone adhere to my opinion over their body as it is just that my opinion so I should not be expected to adhere to anyone elseâs opinion over my body.
Problem solved
Why do you care what I do with my body?
This is the policy we need:
Simply recognize all unborn children as human beings from conceptipn, and all murder laws will instantly apply.
We can also cosify the scientific definitions for male and female in the same bill, which would solve a plethora of these problems.
There are a couple caveats to this. Firstly, Trump got rid of Roe V Wade to give the power of deciding abortions back to the States. This is important politically as Kamala Harris the traitor continuously says Trump is going after abortion, citing the Heritage Foundationâs Project 2025 which has nothing to do with Trump. The point here is to limit the power of the federal government, not make the federal government stronger.
Secondly, I believe the technology exists to provide surrogate motherhood or test tube babies as a workaround to killing the fetus. You could then technically have an abortion (defined as terminating a pregnancy) while keeping the fetal baby alive and transplanting the bugger into a surrogate mother or machine to carry it the rest of the way through development. I seriously think that society is intentionally not talking about this idea because it effectively destroys the underlying evil purpose of abortion, which is the black market for baby parts and perhaps even adrenochrome. So abortion as a political issue has nothing to do with womens rights, and my idea protects free choice as well as life.
If you have the right to terminate your pregnancy unilaterally, then a man has the right to terminate his responsibilities as a father unilaterally and not be forced to pay child support. Allowing a mother to simply decide to not have that 18 year responsibility while not allowing the same choice for men violates equal protection under law and is unconstitutional.
When the men carry the fetus to birth . Know how it feels and all the issues then they can have a say. Until then sorry no I do not agree and as a mother who had a man DECIDE he had no responsibility from conception it was my fault for getting pregnant and walked away and never paid a penny of support by the way I made my choice over my body.
The basic argument here is who has the right to tell another human being how to live their life and what they should do with their body answer is
NOBODY!
RightâŚso legalize abortion, end child support, and give financial incentives to traditional families. Push for family values over vices, and let the future unfold.
***I have now made small edits to my main abortion proposal to make sure it is 100% clear that this bill does NOT authorize funding for elective abortions (and never did). Also, it does NOT compel medically providers and professionals to perform elective abortions. A few pro-lifers took issue with the terminology of âabortionâ as many pro-lifers do not consider life-saving/medically indicated abortion to be abortion, so they misconstrued its purpose. A medically indicated D & C is not always considered âabortionâ by some state laws. Either way, regardless of my language choice, the stipulations in question only affirms and strengthens existing law that medical providers are obligated to stabilize their patients and avoid medical neglect/malpractice.
It does NOT provide exceptions for mere disabilities or conditions like Down Syndrome. I would consider conditions like anencephaly to be a âsevereâ abnormality, or if the baby was âchronically and irreversibly comatoseââcases in which the US Child Abuse Prevention Act specifies would not be âmedically indicatedâ for treatment.

I have also been careful to point out that my idea for a Medi-caid/insurance co-pay funded in-home visits from an independently contracted parenting coach, is for a LIMITED number of visits. It could just be one or two. But either way, this would have to be fleshed out by the legislators. I donât know how many visits it would be but the legislators could cross that bridge when we get there. This is absolutely health-related. This helps the parentsâ mental health, and the improvement in their parenting and relationships will also improve their childrenâs mental outcome, and everyoneâs overall health outcomes.
This is a well-researched, comprehensive, that addresses top concerns about abortion and pro-life laws vs. maternal healthcare, will calm the polarization of this issue and help Trump win more votes. Itâs not a âcompromise;â itâs the best chance we have, in this moment, to keep a pro-life foot in the door, save the pro-life movement, until hopefully we pass a ban in the next presidency. So for those of you voting on this dudeâs proposal, could you also vote for mine, too, as a back-up?
How about: âBan procured abortionâ?
The current title is confusing procured abortion with wrongly called âtherapeutic abortionâ
Therapy is to cure, not murder an unborn child.
But thereâs an ethical choice in case of an unavoidable treatment needed to save a pregnant mother (e.g. cancer), which could cause an unwanted abortion as side effect to try to save them both, provided the baby is not still viable for living outside the womb.
Similarly, ectopic babies could be tried to relocate instead of directly murdering them: if a miscarriage results from that effort, itâs clearly not procured abortion!
Also, the definition of procured abortion should include out-of-womb abortion, like in IVF-babies being discarded in a Petri dish, frozen, etc.: for each IVF-born, 25 are done!
Of course, abortion is part of THE plan of the global government in the shadows:
There are treatment for this actual healthcare need and in Mo. Wasnât classified as abortion at all. The healthcare for women whoâs pregnancies fail or with partial miscarriages should never be denied. Preserving life of mother and child should always be first.
We can and have always had options for those who donât want families. Including Tubal Ligations or Vasectomies.
