Election Reform - National Elections

  1. Election Day for Presidential and Midterm Elections should be a national holiday
  2. All National Elections require paper ballots in-person voting - mail-in only for elderly with medical justification, deployed military and citizens living outside of the country
  3. All ballots are blindly counted by hand and by scanner - counts are compared - variations are remediated
  4. All ballots are counted where cast - no transporting of ballots to other locations to count
  5. A nationally recognized Photo ID is required to vote - no exceptions
  6. Voter registration should have an expiration (e.g. 2 years) just like every other licenses or registrations. This would prevent the ‘bloated’ voter rolls and save the millions of dollars spent to clean them up and help to curtail malfeasances in the voting process.
