I think it’s time we created a department in government where elected officials are tested for illicit drug use, mental competency, as well as a minimum IQ level of intellect prior to taking any office , and tested annually for same while in office.
I think a great leader for this effort would be Dr. Ben Carson.

Absurd
Maybe some version of this idea wouldn’t be so bad. Seems to me that the dumbest people in our country, are running it.
Some prerequisites for potential candidates may not be such a bad idea.
