Americans are not just overdue; they are an essential reckoning that this nation must confront. Our lineage is at the core of what has made America powerful and prosperous. From the 13th Amendment’s promise to end slavery to the 14th Amendment’s affirmation of our citizenship, the bloodline of foundational Black Americans is a covenant with the U.S. Constitution itself. Everything that defines this country’s greatness is deeply intertwined with our legacy.
To deny reparations is to deny the truth of American history. Foundational Black Americans have not only shaped this nation, but our sacrifices have powered its rise. The time to repair the injustices of the past is long overdue. This is not just about justice—it is about honoring a debt, written into the very promises of this country.

Policies that address reparations must be brought to the forefront of our national agenda. The voices of foundational Black Americans deserve to be heard, and our demands for restitution must be met. We are not asking for a favor—we are insisting on what is rightfully owed to us. The future of this country, and the fulfillment of its founding principles, depends on this reckoning. We will not be silenced, and we will not wait any longer.

This issue demands immediate and sincere action. Our bloodline, our struggle, our legacy—all of it calls for justice. The Policies for the People Forum must take a stand on this issue. It is time to make the overdue promise of reparations a reality.

Sincerely,
Carnell Oliver

There is a truth too heavy to ignore, a history too powerful to be denied. The time for reparations for foundational Black Americans has come—no more delays, no more silence. The votes will follow those who stand in the light of this obligation because the truth demands action.

We are the descendants of those who built this nation brick by brick, whose blood sealed the promises that America has yet to fulfill. And now, the time for excuses is over. There is no escaping this truth—it must rise, it must prevail. Our reparations are not just a hope; they are a demand, etched into the soul of this country.

To those who vote, to those who understand the weight of this moment, the obligation is clear. Stand with us. Stand for what is right. It is high time that foundational Black Americans receive what is owed. The truth is unstoppable, and it will have its day.
