Easy Citizenship for Spouses of US Citizens

I propose a path to easy citizenship for spouses of US citizens. The path today is too difficult and time consuming. In this case, the couple has to demonstrate that it’s truly a union based on love and commitment…not based on necessity or to bypass normal immigration policies. It could be as simple as a minimum number of years married (ex. 5 years) and potentially other criteria such having children or joint ownership of a home or business. The process should be simple and citizenship…or at a minimum a green card or special status…should be granted immediately without all overhead of the current processes.
